Memorial Day Weekend
May 26-28, 2012
Join us this Memorial Day weekend as we construct the Wall of Tribute and place
photos to honor our military and civil service heroes. The Wall will be on display
in our Serve & Protect Garden in the northwest section of the cemetery.
Photos will be accepted now through May 27. Bring them to the cemetery office to
be scanned and returned, or email them to WallofTribute@PenwellGabel.com.
Photos received before May 23 will be added to this year’s tribute video.
The Penwell-Gabel Cemetery & Mausoleum is the most beautiful cemetery in Topeka.
Not only is the cemetery a place of final rest for our loved ones, it’s also a park
open to members of our community. Throughout the seasons you can enjoy the peaceful
setting of our duck pond and gazebo, exercise on our marked walking trail or attend
one of the regular outdoor events.
